Brain Science and Criminal Justice: Promise, Peril, and a Path Forward
How does neuroscience inform legal blame and responsibility? Does neurotechnology have a place in the courtroom? Mark your calendars for this Wednesday at 3pm PST to hear from an expert at the intersection of neuroscience and the law. Francis Shen, J.D., Ph.D., will be discussing the new science and ethics of neurotechnologies and their vast implications. Dr. Shen is an associate professor and McKnight Presidential Fellow at the University of Minnesota and serves as the Executive Director of Education and Outreach for the MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Law and Neuroscience as well as the Senior Fellow in Law and Neuroscience on a project that is a collaboration between Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard.
