I always knew I wanted to work in Student Affairs, so while I was an undergraduate Psych major at Cal, I worked as a Resident Adviser and then a Hall Coordinator in the Residence Halls. After I graduated I took some time to try out other fields, including working for the YMCA, a high school health center, and the girl scouts. But my heart was always in College Counseling. In 2000 I finished my M.S. in College Counseling from San Francisco State University. My first job after graduate school was at UC Davis. In 2005, I finally landed my dream job and returned home to Cal to be a Letters and Science Adviser, and I've been here ever since!
