Alumni Update: I graduated from Cal Berkeley in with dual degrees in Psychology and Architecture. I went on to complete my Masters in Architecture from UT Austin. Though I didn't continue with a path in psychology, I hold the knowledge I gained from those studies fiercely close to my heart, and apply it in some capacity to everything I do. I know my architectural designs have benefited from those insights into human behavior, without a doubt. After practicing architecture in India and Chile I went on to found the startup Design With Benefits where I currently work. We're a social enterprise that curates products at the intersection of design and social responsibility, and from small businesses that are making a difference environmentally, socially, and ethically. I'm incredibly lucky to have had the chance to work with the amazing professors in the Berkeley psychology department and will always be thankful for that time.
