While in my senior year I started entrepreneur activities with my buddy who was a grad. student at a different department. I kept doing that after graduating with my B.A. in Psychology, and came back to Japan to build a start-up. I was a young entrepreneur.
7 years later, I went back to academia (Tokyo Institute of Technology, "MIT in Japan") to pursue a doctorate degree, while running my firm all right. In 2011 I received my Ph.D, started being a part-time researcher at the Institute of Buddhist Culture, Musashino University. The huge Earthquake in Tohoku occurred in this year. I was an apprentice academician.
Since 2013 I have been working as a full-time researcher at the Department of Healthcare Quality Assessment, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo. I am a data scientist, who is working on a "big data & medicine."
For EVERY SINGLE step in my career and EVERY SINGLE point for my life events, my undergrad. degree in Psychology at CAL helped me tremendously. And I know it will in the future as well.
