At the age of 41, I decided I would like to get a degree in psychology.  I went 3 years to a community college and transfered in to UC Berkeley at the age of 44.  I graduated in 2 years (2004) with my bachelors degree in Psychology.  I the went straight into grad school at John F. Kennedy University, and got my master's degreein 2007.  I then graduated with my doctorate degree in 2010.  My dissertation was on domesic violence.  I became licensed in 2015, and have been working in geropsychology for the past 4 1/2 years, and I love it!
