Here are some important updates/deadlines to keep in mind for this week:

1. Volunteer at the Psychology Graduation Ceremony! 

You may not be graduating this May, but why not celebrate with your friends who are? The Psychology graduation takes place on Thursday May 19th and we need help to pull off a festive event. Folks who volunteer will be provided lunch and complimentary admission to the ceremony. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Christine Mullarkey at cmullarkey@berkeley.edu for more information.

2. Casa Application Now Live! 

Casa Joaquin Murrieta (Casa) is a multi-ethnic residential community that supports leadership development and academic success while providing a nurturing living environment for UC Berkeley undergraduate students. Please read the details about the program here. The application for the 2022 - 2023 academic year is now open!

A COMPLETE APPLICATION REQUIRES:
Submission of the application form
Completion of the 4 short answer questions
A copy of your Financial Aid Offer Letter
A copy of your or your parents previous year's taxes
A copy of the Official UC Berkeley Offer Letter or other proof of enrollment
Professional resume and list of references

3. Honors Spotlight

4. Safe Quiet Space for Studying: May 2nd-11th 

From May 2-11, St. Mark's Episcopal Church at Bancroft Way and Ellsworth Street will be offering a safe quiet space for UC Berkeley students to study, featuring good wifi, free coffee, tea, and snacks. This study hall, a community service to UC Berkeley students during exam periods, will run each day from 2 pm to 10 pm.  The study hall is in the St. Mark’s Parish Hall and can be accessed through 2300 Bancroft Way (at the handicapped access, just across the street from the UC Berkeley Recreational Sports Facility). Cal IDs and proof of vaccination will be required for entry. For more information, please contact Kevin Zamzow-Pollock.
