After graduating with my BA in Psychology at Berkeley in 2004, I entered a PhD program in Social Psychology at UCLA. 

I graduated with my PhD in Social Psychology at UCLA in 2010, and accepted a postdoctoral scholar position at Lisbon University Institute in Lisbon Portgual.

In 2011, I accepted my current position as an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at Portland State University in Portlamd, OR.

My areas of research include implicit bias, social identity threat, and stereotypicality biases.  I explore how these biases impact behavior across

various domains, including with police departments in the criminal justice system.
