Year 1
1. Proseminar in Clinical Psychology (Psy 230: Fall semester).
2. Clinical Assessment: Theory, Application and Practicum (Psy 233A: Spring semester).
3. Statistics (Fall and/or Spring semesters).
4. Individual Research (Psy 299: Fall and Spring semesters).
5. Clinical Science Colloquia (Psy 239: Fall and Spring semesters).
6. Introduction to the Profession of Psychology (Psy 292A: Fall semester).
7. Teaching Psychology (Psy 300: Fall or Spring semester).
8. OMNI conference (monthly; Fall and Spring semesters).
9. Introduction to Clinical Methods (Psy 237H: Spring or
Summer).
10. Additional Course Work (breadth requirements, other electives).
11. Research Task: Plan and prepare two-page outline of second-year research
project by end of Psy 230A in Fall semester.
Year 2
1. Clinical Assessment: Theory, Application and Practicum (Psy 233B: Spring semester).
2. Specialty Clinic (Psy 236 and Psy 237G: Fall and Spring semesters).
3. Intern Staff meeting
(Psy 237E: Clinical Decision Making: Fall and Spring semesters).
4. Conduct Assessment in Psychology Clinic.
5. Second Year Research Seminar (Psy 293: Spring semester).
6. Clinical Science Colloquia (Psy 239: Fall and Spring semesters).
7. Individual Research (Psy 299: Fall and Spring semesters).
8. Additional Course Work (breadth requirements, other electives).
9. Research task: Work on Masters-level research.
Year 3
1. Specialty Clinic (Psy 236 and Psy 237: Fall and Spring semesters)

Year 4

3. Additional Course Work (breadth requirements, other electives).
4. Optional: Additional clinical work (Assessment, Specialty Clinic, or Externship)
5. Research and Program Tasks:
a) Complete Qualifying Examination.
b) Obtain approval of dissertation proposal
c) Apply for Clinical Internship if dissertation proposal approved by October 1
Year 5
PLAN A:
1. Full-time Clinical Internship
2. Complete dissertation by end of Year 5
PLAN B

4. Research and Program Tasks:
a) Obtain approval of dissertation proposal by October 1.
b) Apply for Clinical Internship and the complete internship in Year 6
c) Complete dissertation prior to beginning Internship if possible.
